I’ve made it so all comments now have to be approved before they go live. It’s unfortunate, but I was spending more time every day deleting bogus comments linking to on-line casino’s, pharmacies and ‘pron’ sites. 
Instead of removing comments altogether, they now have to be approved by me. This will mean a slight delay in the comment appearing live to the public, but it effectively makes spamming the comments a waste of time ! Yay
