		<description>After buying the app I actually agree with you Glenn. It would be superb if they used the iPhone OS3&#039;s ability to plug in directly from the iPhone dock to the camera via a USB cable. However as it is, you already have the camera plugged into the laptop... Canon makes a very good tethered shooting app.... so I just use that as before. Adding the iPhone app to the chain just adds time and shutter lag. 

I&#039;m hoping the app gets better in future versions.</description>

But I&#039;ve been controlloing my Nikon DSLR using my Palm OS based phone for years (and no laptop needed - it just replicates the IR remote control)
